Rantings...

Yesterday i skipped church and went to town to help Billy out with a project. Billy just set up his own studio doing those media, audio, video, photography kind of things. And of course also started his network of taking in freelance jobs. Well, he approached me to help him with the job because he could not find enough girls, i agreed to help him out to show him my support lar.

The event was a grand opening for this slimming specialist salon in Far East Plaza. Billy was supposed to provide ten girls, but only nine girls turned up. I think the No.10 girl is freaking irresponsible, when Billy tried calling her, she switched her mobile. No sense of professionalism lar. Billy was quite calm when the lady boss questioned him, he still have to act like as though nothing happened, and keep smiling and joke around with us. NO.10 girl, please wake up and stop ruining other people reputation. IF you cant turn up, at least have some sense of urgency to inform the agent early so he could ask for a replacement. TSK TSK TSK* Ive got no idea why must she has to do this!!! I feel angry for Billy!!!

Well, moving on...while we were waiting in a room for the lady boss to brief us. We started talking to each other. Its my first time meeting all the other girls yesterday. GUESS WATT!!! One of the girls working the event is only FREAKING 15 years old. SO YOUNG!!! LIKE REALLY FREAKING YOUNGGG LARRR!!! I thought 16 years old is the legal age to start working lar. MY GOODNESS...I feel so damn old standing in the midst of them. Like having the digit 1 in front for age. WAHHH!!! Its considered young for me lar...Waiting for O levels, diploma results then work for part time jobs...THOSE WERE THE DAYS for me. After all it wasnt so bad cause there are 2-3 girls older than me lar. LOLS!!!

Jobscope quite easy lar. Give out flyers and then promote their grand opening promotion packages. Half of the time i was slacking with the girls. Billy came over to visit us during *working hours*, we took some pics... hehe!!!

I miss those days. Working for event and stuffs. Sighs. Im growing old... BOOOO!!!

OH.Grandma is away, she went to Penang for church camp. Mon-Thurs. I have to cover her duties. E.g Buying breakfast, marketing, cook with the maid, ensure that everyone take their meals. I will take some photos and blog about it. =D

Joshybaby has been really busy doing his schoolwork lately. And all the preparation before his final paper. The source of entertainment for me is logging into facebook every hr to check if the rsvp list has increasing no. of ppl. Its currently standing at 16 confirmed guests. I hope the no of ppl will keep increasing when the date draws nearer. Planning the party arent easy task, Im going to get the balloons settled tonight. Hopefully they will get my pretty balloons send to the party venue if i hit the delivery budget.

Japanese test again this friday. damn ZzzZZzzzZZZ. So freaking lazy lar! been nua-ing since i flew back from Osaka turnaround. I don feel like studying!!!!

Friday also marks Judy dearie's birthday. Saturday will be April darling's birthday.

I cant wait to meet my babies on the 22nd. Chalet Party. WOO HOOO!!!

In the midst of all the planning for my 21st party, i get so excited, but part of me doesnt wan to grow up. As you grow older, you will need to worry for all things... SIGHS!!!

I wana stay forever so young. Don need to spend on skincare and beauty products...

Im feeling much better now. For those that have been asking and listening to me. Thank you. Im leaving for a turnaround flight tonight. Will be back on Good Friday =)

MY RIGHT HAND IS ACHING!

I HATE THIS FLIGHT!!!

cause i opened 4 bottles of each 4 types of wine right after the seat belt sign went off. My right hand is so freaking painful now lar. The flight was full. Damn full. So sickening. I didnt even have time to go for my rest lar. 2h 20mins for breaktime. But the stupid call button jus cant stop coming on! And the freaking unreasonable pax in economy class, kept arguing with my in charge regarding the issue that his family of 5 kids cant be upgrade to business class.

PLEASE LAR! use ur eyes to see, we are FULL. LIKE DAMN FULL!!! So the ground staff was only able to sell them two seats. During boarding, the husband and one of the kid was seated in business class. Then after takeoff, the wife and one of the daughter came to the front and switched seats with the husband. WAT THE HELL!!! U think playing magic chair or wat...So they should have two business class meal choice rite?? The woman demanded to have a child meal for the kid.

LIKE HUH? u think u are on a personal jet where u hire a professional chef to come board just to serve u? My in charge cant be bothered with her, so we just took an economy class meal to serve the kid. I think she cant think straight for nuts. Business class meals are like so much better than economy one. WHY wana make this type of request...

Anyways the husband was issued a warning letter by the Captain. He kept aruging like since after take off, during first meal, 1st rest, refreshment. Like every single moment he have. With the flight supervisor, my in charge, economy class's crew. WE CANT HAVE PEACE!!!

And he is being damn selfish, caused us to have one crew down because of him. So childish, he kept coming to the business class to argue with my in charge. In conclusion, i have to cover some of the cabin duty of my in charge and do my duty assigned galley work. ITS DAMN XIONG BECAUSE ITS THE B/C COMP GLY!!!

I cant stop ranting about this, cause i feel so damn tired. I think the alcohol must be not strong enough to make the pax tipsy. If not they will sure be sleeping soundly. OR they are just hungry monsters. One eat, everyone starts ordering. ITS TERRIBLE. New York flight time is like so long (12h05min). I still cant figure out why they don sleep. Make us so busy, one request after another. My right thumbnail broke too!!!

I fell into deep sleep for about 6hrs until Chef Michele called me regarding the parcel that he addressed to send to the hotel for me to bring it back for him. Well, the hotel staff claims that there isnt anything sent for me upon my check in, i sent a msg to Chef in Facebook, then Chef got so worked up, i think he called and double check, for failing to find the sent parcel, he scolded the staff. The second call came in, it was the hotel staff, he asked me to go down and pick up the parcel. MEANS HAVE LAR!!! should double check wat, bad communication during the staffs. When i went down to the front desk, the parcel was placed at a place that i can see clearly. They must have got it hard from Chef. =)

I guess ill go to the shoppin mall around noon time for bout 2 hrs, then come back and sleep again. Its really cold in New York, but didnt snow. I think the last time i saw snow was in Amsterdam, but its those melting kind. Wana see the real snow!!!

I cant wait for our one year anniversary =)

Merlion hit by lightning

SINGAPORE'S iconic Merlion statue, a popular tourist attraction, was damaged by lightning on Saturday afternoon during a thunderstorm, according to reports.

No one was hurt.

The Merlion was struck by lightning between 4 and 5 pm local time, causing parts of the statue to fall near a group of startled visitors.

The 8.6 metre-tall Merlion has the head of a lion and the body and tail of a fish, and sits at the mouth of the Singapore River near the central business district.

The lion head symbolises Singapore's founding by an Indonesian prince who named his new settlement after a lion he saw when he landed on the island. The body of the fish represents

Singapore's origins as a fishing village.

Singapore, or 'Singapura', is derived from the Sanskrit words Singa (or Lion) and Pura (City).

Singapore's police could not be reached for comment while a spokesman for Singapore's information ministry said she did not have any details about the incident. -- REUTERS

CAN U BELIEVE THIS? Merlion struck by lighting on the 28 FEB? My jap friend arrived last night for two nights stay in Singapore. So disappointing, she wasnt able to see the Merlion at One Fullerton. I met her today and we went to Sentosa for some sightseeing. Joshy baby came to have dinner with us. I will upload the photos when she send it to me.
