Leavin New York in another 15 hours time

but its not gona be over yet. Cause im gona be in business class again. And its gona to be full. The last time we checked the loading was like 60 pax. Only 10 vacant seats. Shake head* I pray that ill be assigned to the rows of good pax. And people that don drink wine, so i don need to walk up and down the aisle to refill their glass. haha! Gona take off at 1310 (sg time 0110) and land in Narita at 1620 (sg time 1520) flight time about 14hrs plus. I swear this time i will go and rest in the crew bunk. Im feeling so moody. My homesick problem will never be cured. =(

Wont be applying for internet service in Japan cause im goin out with April when she fly in from Hanoi on my second rest day. We are gona go to town to check out the pretty cherry blossom. Gona try our luck, cause it will only bloom around the end of March or early of April. If its not open yet then we will go shoppin and have coffee at Harajuku cafe.

Cant wait to hit SENTOSA with BUDDIES SOON!!! SAY HELLO TO THE SUNNY ISLAND!!!

MY RIGHT HAND IS ACHING!

I HATE THIS FLIGHT!!!

cause i opened 4 bottles of each 4 types of wine right after the seat belt sign went off. My right hand is so freaking painful now lar. The flight was full. Damn full. So sickening. I didnt even have time to go for my rest lar. 2h 20mins for breaktime. But the stupid call button jus cant stop coming on! And the freaking unreasonable pax in economy class, kept arguing with my in charge regarding the issue that his family of 5 kids cant be upgrade to business class.

PLEASE LAR! use ur eyes to see, we are FULL. LIKE DAMN FULL!!! So the ground staff was only able to sell them two seats. During boarding, the husband and one of the kid was seated in business class. Then after takeoff, the wife and one of the daughter came to the front and switched seats with the husband. WAT THE HELL!!! U think playing magic chair or wat...So they should have two business class meal choice rite?? The woman demanded to have a child meal for the kid.

LIKE HUH? u think u are on a personal jet where u hire a professional chef to come board just to serve u? My in charge cant be bothered with her, so we just took an economy class meal to serve the kid. I think she cant think straight for nuts. Business class meals are like so much better than economy one. WHY wana make this type of request...

Anyways the husband was issued a warning letter by the Captain. He kept aruging like since after take off, during first meal, 1st rest, refreshment. Like every single moment he have. With the flight supervisor, my in charge, economy class's crew. WE CANT HAVE PEACE!!!

And he is being damn selfish, caused us to have one crew down because of him. So childish, he kept coming to the business class to argue with my in charge. In conclusion, i have to cover some of the cabin duty of my in charge and do my duty assigned galley work. ITS DAMN XIONG BECAUSE ITS THE B/C COMP GLY!!!

I cant stop ranting about this, cause i feel so damn tired. I think the alcohol must be not strong enough to make the pax tipsy. If not they will sure be sleeping soundly. OR they are just hungry monsters. One eat, everyone starts ordering. ITS TERRIBLE. New York flight time is like so long (12h05min). I still cant figure out why they don sleep. Make us so busy, one request after another. My right thumbnail broke too!!!

I fell into deep sleep for about 6hrs until Chef Michele called me regarding the parcel that he addressed to send to the hotel for me to bring it back for him. Well, the hotel staff claims that there isnt anything sent for me upon my check in, i sent a msg to Chef in Facebook, then Chef got so worked up, i think he called and double check, for failing to find the sent parcel, he scolded the staff. The second call came in, it was the hotel staff, he asked me to go down and pick up the parcel. MEANS HAVE LAR!!! should double check wat, bad communication during the staffs. When i went down to the front desk, the parcel was placed at a place that i can see clearly. They must have got it hard from Chef. =)

I guess ill go to the shoppin mall around noon time for bout 2 hrs, then come back and sleep again. Its really cold in New York, but didnt snow. I think the last time i saw snow was in Amsterdam, but its those melting kind. Wana see the real snow!!!

I cant wait for our one year anniversary =)

I dislike being away on weekends..

Im lazing on the bed and blogging now. It was really cold when i touched down this morning, was rainin and the wind blowing at us was damn strong lar. Machiam can fly away. I jus had the fried carrot cake my grandma bought for me from the food centre. The only comfort that i enjoyed.

I don like to be away, i don like to fly to the STATES. I wana be stay by baby side..im so emo now. And ar. tmw im working for the big galley. I will be too tired to blog when i reach new york.

Joshybaby told me to meet him at 5.30pm yesterday. So i went to see the company doctor to get some cream for my rashes, and sleeping pill for the stupid jet lags. I HATE FLYING TO THE STATES or anywhere else that the time diff is opp from SG!!! Because i cant follow their timing for nuts. Back to the topic, Mr BF called me around 4.45pm and told me he is done with his class, wanted to meet me. I told him i wasnt done yet and i needed to develop some photos to surprise him... He insisted on meeting me at Raffles. =( So i told him ill only be done at 5.30pm.

Sentosa e ikimashita

HELLO PEOPLE..i was back in Singapore since friday. But was too busy, so didnt have the time to blog. Meet my friends from Nihon (Japan) . I brought them to Sentosa on the 2nd March. This is a much delayed post cause i am still waitin for Megumi San to send me some other photos. But nvm, ill still blog with the photos that Aoki San sent me. I was really excited to know Aoki San was being scheduled to fly to Singapore. I met her when she was a trainee on my Amsterdam flight. She is a very nice girl, willing to learn and loves to spot conversations with me. I guess its fate that brought us tgt to fly another pattern to Nagoya tgt in Jan. We exchanged emails and catch up with each other. Im glad that she can fly here and i was free to show her around. Megumi San is Aoki San's class girl. HOW LUCKY!!! CLASS GIRLS flying tgt to SINGAPORE!!! Its their second time flying here.Anyways its have been ages since i went to Sentosa for a visit. haha!!!

Im sure all of u heard bout the Merlion at One fullerton was struck by lighting. SO...we decided that we will visit the Merlion in Sentosa. and its freaking HUGE!!!

Erm..Aoki San asked me wats Merlion? haha!!! then i suggested we should go to THE MERLION to watch a video that shows the story on how the Merlion came about

We did not climb any stairs. We took a lift straight up to the 10th floor to enjoy the view of Sentosa, and these two photos was taken very obviously in the mouth of the Merlion

BUTTERFLY PARK & INSECT KINGDOM

Basically we went in the butterfly park and had a good view of all the butterflies there, many many species, and the movement of the butterflies were like really fast, so nv really take pics of them flyin around

This pic looks funny. haha! Aoki San FACE!!! The parrots were flying around near her. I think ar, the people there really know how to earn $$$, wana make us pay $2 to buy those dried food to feed the parrots..pls lar, the person must have thought im a japanese too. Wana cheat our $$$$

LOOK we've got butterflies on us. COOL COOL!!! Aoki San is really daring ar..but Megumi San is scared of butterflies and insects. So i think she spent there time taking pics for us instead of admiring the butterflies

But both of them loves Singapore because of the nice greenary here, as u guys know, Japan has 4 seasons, its really hard for them to adapt to the hot weather here. But im sure they enjoyed themselves looking at the pretty butterflies flying around. In Japan, they will only get to see butterflies in the Spring season, and the butterflies are very small in sizes

Next Stop : Images of Singapore

Megumi San looked thru her Singapore guide book, and told me that she wanted to visit Images of Singapore. And of course, we are both okie with that cause its pretty near to the Butterfly park, and we went there to learn about the history/culture of Singapore

We left Sentosa around 4.30pm cause Joshybaby was coming to fetch us for dinner. =)

Both Aoki San and Megumi San wanted to try the cable car. haha!!! OMG!!! So i told Joshy to pick us at Mount Faber

Okie!!! Megumi San is also afraid of height. haha!!! We were like screaming when the cable car started moving. After 2-3 mins then we were like behaving normally...

HAHA! not okie again!!! Cause when we reached the station at World trade centre, the cable car has to move up to the station, then down again to to the normal way hanging in the air..I TELL U, when the cable car moves out of the station, it feels like we are sliding of the building. very droppy feeling. Don ask me why i don have this problem when i fly around the world on the plane. =P

YUMMYYYY!!! We ordered chicken rice and prawn noodle..very delicious. Aoki San ate the chilli padi like its not spicy at all can. haha! Joshybaby and me was like stunned when we saw her eatin that. They tried rojak and sugarcane juice too. =)

Its NEOPRINT TIME!!!

Joshybaby and me took this neoprint on Sunday. I know wat question u have in ur brain now, why is there two pictures of the same frame but different poses. CAUSE, there are two sides of decorating booth. We were standin at booth A wondering why our photos are not out yet, 2-3 mintues passed, baby decided to go and ask the staff. THEN i saw this tiny lettering on top of the decorating screen *please check both sides for decorating* WAT THE HECK!!!When we walked over to booth B, the computer system chose for us already.

Luckily the photos wasnt the ugly one that baby wanted. haha! =P He wanted one that has a microphone and he was singing and half of my face was hidden by the standing microphone.

I remember those days when i was still schooling, think almost every week ill go and take this geek geek old design looking $4 neoprints with my friends. haha! Everyone just chip in $1 then can this neoprint taken. Nowadays these new machines from japan damn expensive lar. $12. But im sure those of the kids can afford it lar. I think their pocket money maybe $5 a day. TSK TSK*

Leaving for my turnaround flight to Osaka later tonight. I LOVE TURNAROUND!!! Can buy many many things...Hopefully i can sleep when i reach in the morning and wakey about noon then go shopping. GRINS* Flying back to SG on Friday.

Merlion hit by lightning

SINGAPORE'S iconic Merlion statue, a popular tourist attraction, was damaged by lightning on Saturday afternoon during a thunderstorm, according to reports.

No one was hurt.

The Merlion was struck by lightning between 4 and 5 pm local time, causing parts of the statue to fall near a group of startled visitors.

The 8.6 metre-tall Merlion has the head of a lion and the body and tail of a fish, and sits at the mouth of the Singapore River near the central business district.

The lion head symbolises Singapore's founding by an Indonesian prince who named his new settlement after a lion he saw when he landed on the island. The body of the fish represents

Singapore's origins as a fishing village.

Singapore, or 'Singapura', is derived from the Sanskrit words Singa (or Lion) and Pura (City).

Singapore's police could not be reached for comment while a spokesman for Singapore's information ministry said she did not have any details about the incident. -- REUTERS

CAN U BELIEVE THIS? Merlion struck by lighting on the 28 FEB? My jap friend arrived last night for two nights stay in Singapore. So disappointing, she wasnt able to see the Merlion at One Fullerton. I met her today and we went to Sentosa for some sightseeing. Joshy baby came to have dinner with us. I will upload the photos when she send it to me.
